Green electric carts with departure and arrival in Bilzen city centre from Fietsfabriek 3740

Our green electric (golf) carts can seat 4 people and cover distances of up to 40 km. Where to go? Follow a mapped-out route from Fietsfabriek 3740. We provide a tablet to help you navigate along the route.

• Discover numerous sights such as the Grand Commandery Alden Biesen, Vrijhern Hermitage, Hardingen Castle, Schalkhoven Castle, the Old Town Hall, and St. Mauritius Church.
• Along the way, you will find plenty of eateries where you can take a break. Tip: reserve a picnic at Visit Bilzen. We will prepare the picnic for you. All you need to do is collect it at Alden Biesen Tourist Office. The route passes automatically here. Park your cart in the visitors’ car park then walk to the reception to pick up your picnic.

Cancellation conditions for green electric (golf) carts

These activities can only be refunded if they are cancelled in writing at least three days in advance at the competent service (in this case Bilzen Tourism) OR by submitting a sick note at the competent service (in this case Bilzen Tourism).

According to conditions of Stad Bilzen webshop and AGB Stadsontwikkeling Bilzen. Article 4: Activities.

Refunds will be made within 90 days via bank transfer. Cash refunds are not possible.

Reservation compulsory & only possible online. Reservations are only confirmed after payment in the webshop. 

Important to know:

• Driver:
  • The driver must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid B driving license.
  • When collecting the cart, the driver must show his/her driving license. Our reception staff will make a copy of this.
  • The driver may not be changed during the drive (insurance).

• Passengers:
  
  
  • Maximum 4 people can be seated per cart (adults and children). 
  • Children:
  • Bringing a baby is not allowed.
  • Carrying a child in a sling is not allowed.
  • Placing a Maxi-Cosi or child seat on the cart is possible/allowed because the cart has a 3-point seat belt.
  • Children taller than 1m35 can travel safely on the cart.
  • Children smaller than 1m35 can only travel safely on the cart in a child’s seat (provided by you)
• The cart is ideal for touring with people with reduced mobility. Wheelchairs cannot be carried on the cart. Please contact us for more details.

• A small dog is allowed on the cart, albeit at your own responsibility.
  
  
• Your route:
  • With your green electric cart, you will drive in regular traffic. So, you will drive on public roads, and not on footpaths or (separate) cycle lanes.
  • You can view the possible route in advance.
